Convert PPTX, PPT, PPSX and ODP presentations to a PDF that looks the same on every device, as slides or handouts.
This conversion runs on a secure server, not in your browser.
These formats need conversion engines that can't run in a browser, so your file is sent over an encrypted connection to our conversion partner CloudConvert (ISO 27001 certified, GDPR compliant, servers in Germany, EU). It is converted, then deleted right after your download, and automatically within 24 hours at the latest. PDFDoco itself never stores your file. How we handle files

Sending a deck as a .pptx is a gamble. The recipient may not have PowerPoint, a phone preview may skip your fonts, and a slide that looked perfect on your laptop can show overflowing text boxes on theirs. A PDF shows every slide exactly as designed, opens on any device, and is small enough to email. It is also the format most conferences, schools and clients ask for.
PDFDoco converts PPTX, PPT, PPSX, PPS and ODP presentations with an Office-grade engine. Choose one full slide per page, or printable handouts with 1 to 9 slides per page, and decide whether hidden slides and comments should be included. Convert up to 10 decks at once, with no sign-up and no watermark.
Drop one or more PPTX, PPT, PPSX, PPS or ODP files, up to 50 MB each.
One slide per page for sharing, or handouts with several slides per page for printing.
Optionally add hidden slides, comments, or create an archive-ready PDF/A.
Each deck becomes a PDF with the same name; several decks arrive in one ZIP.
Fonts, theme colors, charts, SmartArt and images look the way they do in PowerPoint.
Print 2, 3, 4, 6 or 9 slides per page. 3 per page leaves room for notes.
Convert a whole course or conference track at once, up to 10 decks.
One slide per page keeps each slide at full size in widescreen 16:9 or standard 4:3, whichever your deck uses. Use it for sharing, uploading to a learning platform, or presenting from a PDF viewer. Handouts place several slides on portrait pages for printing: 3 per page leaves space for notes, 6 per page is a good balance for revision sheets, and 9 per page is the most compact overview.
Hidden slides are left out by default, just as in a slideshow. Turn on Include hidden slides to export backup or appendix slides too. Review comments can be included for feedback rounds. A PDF has no animations or transitions, so each slide shows its final state with all animated objects visible. Videos and audio show as their poster frame.
Decks full of photos can produce large PDFs. If yours is too big to attach, run it through Compress PDF after converting. To send only some slides, use Extract PDF pages, or put several slides on each sheet of an existing PDF with N-up PDF.
PowerPoint files need a full Office engine that can't run in a browser, so unlike most PDFDoco tools, this one sends your file over an encrypted connection to our conversion partner CloudConvert (ISO 27001 certified, GDPR compliant, servers in Germany). It is deleted as soon as your download finishes, and within 24 hours at the latest. PDFDoco never stores your files. See our Security page.
PPSX and PPS show files, which open straight into a slideshow, and ODP presentations from LibreOffice Impress are converted one slide per page. The handout, hidden-slide and comment options apply to PPTX and PPT files.
Pro tip: presenting from someone else's computer? Bring the PDF as a backup. It opens on any machine, and your fonts and layout can't break.
PPTX and PPT from any version of PowerPoint, PPSX and PPS slideshow files, and ODP from LibreOffice Impress. For Google Slides, download the deck as .pptx first (File > Download > Microsoft PowerPoint).
Yes. Fonts, theme colors, charts, tables, SmartArt and images are kept, and the slide size (16:9 or 4:3) is preserved. Animations and transitions can't exist in a PDF, so each slide shows its final state.
Yes. Choose Handouts and pick 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 or 9 slides per page. The 3-per-page layout leaves room for notes beside each slide.
Not by default, just like in a slideshow. Turn on Include hidden slides to add them.
