Mirror PDF pages horizontally or vertically — all pages or just the ones you pick, with no loss of quality.
Free tier supports files up to 50MB.
Processed in your browser — files never leave your device. How it works
Sometimes a page needs to be a mirror image: an iron-on transfer that will be pressed face down, a design printed on the back of glass or acrylic, or a scan that came out reversed from a document camera. Flipping a PDF creates that mirror image — horizontally (left and right swap) or vertically (top and bottom swap). PDFDoco mirrors each page as a vector transformation, so text, images and drawings keep exactly their original sharpness, and you can flip the whole file or only the pages you select. The file is processed in your browser and never uploaded.
Pick the document. Thumbnails of every page appear so you can see what you're flipping.
Horizontal mirrors left and right, like a reflection. Vertical turns the page upside down as a mirror image.
Flip the whole document, or tap thumbnails to flip only the pages you need.
The mirrored PDF downloads immediately, at exactly the original quality.
Pages are mirrored as vectors — no re-rendering, no blur, no larger file.
Select all, odd, even or individual pages and preview the result on each thumbnail.
Flipping happens in your browser. The PDF is never uploaded anywhere.
Heat-transfer paper for T-shirts, sublimation prints for mugs, window decals read from outside, and designs printed on the reverse of clear film all need a mirror image, so that the design reads correctly once it is flipped onto the final surface. Many printer drivers hide the "mirror" option or lack it entirely. Flip the PDF horizontally here, print at actual size, and the result is the right way round on the finished piece.
Overhead document cameras, webcams used for remote teaching and some phone scanner apps produce mirrored pages, where every word reads backwards. A horizontal flip restores normal reading. If the page is also upside down, apply a vertical flip as well or turn it with Rotate PDF. Because only the selected pages are changed, you can fix the odd reversed page in a long scan without touching the rest.
Many online tools flip a PDF by turning every page into a picture, mirroring the picture and putting it back — which blurs text, makes it unsearchable and often makes the file much bigger. PDFDoco instead adds a mirroring instruction to each page, the same mechanism PDF viewers use for zoom and rotation. Nothing is re-encoded: images keep their original data, text stays text, and the file size barely changes.
A horizontal flip mirrors across the vertical center line: the left margin becomes the right margin and text reads backwards. A vertical flip mirrors across the horizontal center line: the page is upside down and reversed. Flipping both ways is the same as rotating 180°, so if all you need is to turn a page the right way up, rotating is the better choice because the text stays readable.
Pro tip: for double-sided transfer sheets, use the Odd or Even shortcut to mirror just one side of each sheet.
Upload the design, choose Horizontal and download. Every page becomes a left-to-right mirror image, so when the transfer paper is pressed face down onto the fabric the design reads the right way round. Print the downloaded file at 100% (actual size) to keep the dimensions exact.
Rotating turns the page around its center — the content is still readable, just sideways or upside down. Flipping creates a mirror image: text reads backwards. A vertical flip looks like the page reflected in water. Use Rotate PDF to fix sideways pages, and Flip PDF when you need a mirror image.
No. The page content is mirrored with a PDF transformation, the same way a printer driver does it. Text, vector graphics and images are not re-rendered or compressed, so quality and file size stay the same.
Yes. Tap the thumbnails to select or deselect pages, or use the All, Odd and Even shortcuts. Only the selected pages are mirrored; the rest are left exactly as they were.
Yes. Scans from some document cameras, webcams and phone apps come out reversed. Flip those pages horizontally and the text reads normally again. If a page is also upside down, a vertical flip combined with Rotate PDF fixes that too.
They move with the content to their mirrored position, so links still sit over the right words. Highlights, drawings and shapes are mirrored with the page; notes, stamps, text boxes and form fields stay readable. If you want those mirrored too, flatten the PDF first.
Yes. The text is still real text — it is just displayed mirrored. Searching and copying work as before.
