About PDFDoco
Simple, private PDF tools that anyone can use in a browser — free for everyday tasks, with an affordable plan for people who need more.
What PDFDoco does
PDFDoco brings the everyday PDF jobs together in one place: merging and splitting files, compressing them for email, rotating and reordering pages, adding page numbers and watermarks, protecting and unlocking PDFs, converting between PDFs and images, and editing PDFs directly. There are 35 tools today, plus a free invoice generator with ready-made templates for different trades.
Every tool works on phones, tablets and computers, with nothing to install and no account needed to get started.
Your files stay on your device
PDFDoco's tools process files in your browser. When you merge, compress or convert a PDF, the work happens on your own device and the file is never uploaded to our servers, so there's nothing for us to store, read or lose.
The one exception is the optional AI writing help in the PDF editor: when you use it, the text you select is sent to our AI provider to produce the answer, and we don't keep it. The Privacy Policy explains this in detail.
How PDFDoco stays free
You can use PDFDoco for 2 tasks a day without an account, or 5 a day with a free account, on files up to 50 MB. The free plan is paid for by ads, which are labelled and kept away from the tool buttons.
If you use PDFDoco a lot, Pro removes the daily limit and the ads for $7.99 a month or $59.99 a year, and includes smarter AI help. There's also a one-off 7-Day Pass for $4.99. Payments are handled by Paddle.com, and every payment can be refunded within 14 days.
Guides for common PDF problems
Alongside the tools, we write step-by-step guides for the questions people ask most, such as getting a PDF under 1 MB for an upload form, combining PDFs on a phone, or flattening a form before sending it. There are 15 guides so far, and we add more based on what people search for.
